The Hero of Zero is wine-maker Corey Ryan’s focused and high quality response to the growing demand for wines without added preservatives such as sulfur dioxide (commonly known as Preservative 220).

 

Whilst some Sulfur Dioxide is created naturally during fermentation, the legal level for a wine to be labeled “Preservative Free” is less than 10 parts per Million SO2, around 15% of a typical red wine and a fraction of the 3000ppm in dried fruit!

 

The Hero of Zero range is red wines only, made with great care and attention, years of preservative free wine-making experience and a specific bottling program to ensure freshness for at least three years in bottle.
