Fruit from low yielding, old-vine Langhorne Creek vineyards is traditionally vinified with small open fermenters and hand plunging before partial maturation in three hundred litre, high toast ‘black barrels’ for six months.

 

The Black Barrel Langhorne Creek Shiraz is an opulent and richly flavoured wine packed with dark berried fruit, blood plum and chocolate flavours. Rich and approachable now, this wine will gain character and complexity over the next ten years.
