Founded by longtime friends and wine professionals Corey Ryan and Mike Farrugia, Red Hut was born from a shared vision: to showcase the real New Zealand through boutique, premium wines.

Frustrated by the dominance of low-priced, mass-produced Sauvignon Blanc in global markets, Corey and Mike sourced fruit from hand-picked sub-regions, creating small-parcel, contemporary wines that reflect the excellence and diversity of New Zealand winemaking. Both avid bushwalkers, they were inspired by the communal spirit of the Red Huts – a place of generosity, adventure, and connection – values captured in every bottle.
